An enjoyable ride out along the coastal road in Southport to Martinmere Bird sanctuary and back to Southport town centre. This ride was in anticipation of making it to the MCE BSB competition on Sunday – viewing not participating may I add!

This case was particularly interesting due to the differing problems thrown up by how paralysis affects women differently to men.

This client was riding as a pillion passenger on a motorcycle when she was knocked off by the negligent driving of a car driver. 

 

Dear Ed,

I can’t thank you enough.

I will never forget the moment you (first ) came to see me. When I saw how happy and normal ( sorry to use the phrase normal) you looked in your wheelchair and you gave me the courage and inspiration to realise my life wasn’t over just different. Rob and I feel blessed that we have you as a friend in our lives.

John has a special interest in paralysis as he sits on the Parliamentary Spinal Injuries Group. We are hoping that his presence will attract more regional funders to the open day to illustrate what a fine establishment 6 Weld Road is.

For me the constant battle is to avoid picking up yet another urine infection – glamorous I know! The North West Spinal Injuries Centre has looked after me extremely well however we are all still baffled by the root cause of my ongoing difficulties – the team will continue to battle on to find an answer!
