Yesterday, 26th June, was Doris Shoering’s last day working on the North West Spinal Injuries Centre in Southport.

Doris worked at the centre for many years providing an invaluable service to thousands of those with spinal cord injury in the region.

There was a great turn out for Doris’ leaving presentation, both present staff and those who have retired.  Dr. Clive Glass, the clinical director of the centre, gave Doris a number of presents on behalf of those attending including a 2 day classic car experience in a Morgan!

Doris’ contribution will be greatly missed in the spinal cord injured community in the North West
